For Shopify stores

Your Shopify store is online. But does AI really understand it?

Your customers will no longer search only on Google. They will ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude to find the right product, compare offers and help them choose.

AI will not simply replace the search engine. It will be able to search for, select and buy products for its users.

Your store must convince customers. It must also be understood by their AI agents.

Agikod analyses, prepares and lists your Shopify store for AI agents.

No installation. Agikod analyses the public information on your website.

FINAL SELECTION
THE SHOPPING JOURNEY IS CHANGING

The first selection will no longer be made by your customer.

It will be made by their AI.

The clearest offers enter the comparison more easily.

Their AI agent will search available products. It will compare prices, features, delivery terms, returns and seller credibility.

Then it will narrow down the options.

The first selection will no longer be made by your customer.It will be made by their AI.

Being on Shopify makes you accessible. It does not make you automatically selectable.

Shopify already makes eligible products accessible to several AI channels through Shopify Catalog and Agentic Storefronts.

That is a major step forward.

But being present in a catalogue is not always enough to be chosen.

Each agent still needs to understand:

  • what genuinely differentiates your brand;
  • who your products are for;
  • when they are relevant;
  • their essential features;
  • your prices, variants and availability;
  • your delivery times and areas;
  • your guarantees and return terms;
  • the evidence that makes your store credible;
  • the answers to your future customers’ objections.

Shopify states that product eligibility does not guarantee inclusion in a response. Each platform chooses the products it considers relevant to the user’s request.

Source : Shopify Help Center, Agentic Storefronts — setup — official documentation.

Your data can be available without your value being understood.

That is exactly what Agikod measures.

See what AI really understands about your store

Agikod analyses your website as an AI agent discovering your brand might do.

  • What is clearly established

    Information that AI can identify and reuse with sufficient confidence.

  • What remains ambiguous

    Information that exists but is too scattered, vague or contradictory.

  • What is missing

    Elements needed to compare, select or recommend your products more accurately.

  • overall understanding score;
  • correctly established information;
  • important gaps;
  • claims that lack evidence;
  • elements that may limit selection;
  • corrections to address first.

Not an abstract score. An actionable assessment.

Example profile

9 out of 12 facts are established.

Illustrative example: these figures do not describe a real store.

8

points still need clarification to reduce ambiguity.

  • main material stated, origin unclear;
  • return terms worded differently across pages;
  • sustainability claim without verifiable evidence;
  • compatibility with some uses not specified;
  • inconsistent delivery times;
  • difference from competitors difficult to establish.

A cautious AI does not necessarily fill in missing information. It may select an offer that is easier to understand and verify.

How it works

  1. Enter your Shopify store

    Agikod analyses the available public pages: brand, collections, products, policies, delivery, returns, guarantees and trust information.

  2. View your profile

    See established information, ambiguity and important gaps.

  3. Claim your company for free

    After verification, you can manage your profile and confirm information about your store. Claiming the profile triggers no payment.

  4. Improve what genuinely matters

    Prioritise corrections that make your offer clearer to humans, search engines and AI agents. After claiming, you freely choose whether to activate Agikod listing and monthly monitoring.

With or without https:// or www. Agikod reads only the public pages of your website.

Your copy should not only persuade. It should also answer.

A beautiful product page can convert a human visitor while remaining difficult for AI to use.

An agent looks for precise answers:

  • Who is this product for?
  • What problem does it solve?
  • Under what conditions can it be used?
  • What makes it different?
  • What evidence supports its claims?
  • What is its real price?
  • Is it available?
  • Can it be delivered on time?
  • What happens if it is returned?

Phrases such as “a unique experience”, “exceptional quality” or “designed for your everyday life” create an atmosphere. But they provide little verifiable information.

Create desire for humans.Reduce uncertainty for AI.

A new channel alongside your campaigns

Meta, Google and TikTok remain essential for many Shopify stores.

The aim is not to replace them.

The aim is to avoid depending exclusively on channels where every visit starts with ad spend.

AI agents can provide another form of discovery:

Your campaigns continue to create demand.

AI agents can capture demand already expressed.

A new acquisition channel alongside your campaigns.
  • an already expressed request;
  • a more precise need;
  • clearly stated criteria;
  • a user further along in their decision;
  • a recommendation built from their context.

Meta can create demand.AI agents can capture demand that already exists.

Better AI understanding guarantees neither traffic nor sales. But a poorly understood store may never enter the selection.

What if some of your next sales did not depend on an ad click?

A customer referred by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity is a customer you did not pay to acquire through advertising.

Today, most new customers arrive through an ad: you pay for the click before the sale. When an AI assistant recommends your store, there is no auction and no ad click to buy. But first, it must understand your offer.

How to read the simulator

  1. Enter your advertising budget and new customers for the month.
  2. It calculates what one new customer currently costs you.
  3. It shows what changes if 5, 10 or 15% came from AI rather than an ad.

Enter your budget and number of new customers to see the simulation.

Calculation assumption: with the same number of new customers, your current advertising acquisition cost stays the same and customers from AI discovery generate no direct advertising spend. The cost of content work is not included.

These results are simulations, not a performance promise.

After search comes personal assistance

Today, you ask an AI a question.

Over time, that AI may understand your preferences, constraints and request context better — when you allow it to.

It may remember that you prefer certain materials. That you have a specific budget. That you avoid certain ingredients. That you are looking for a gift. Or that a product must arrive before a particular date.

It will no longer answer only an isolated question.

It may connect several pieces of information to help you decide.

This is the direction of AGI: systems able to understand more context, reason across more tasks and act with greater continuity.

AI will not simply replace the search engine. It will be able to search for, select and buy products for its users.

Your next customer may delegate part of their shopping journey to a personal agent.

That agent may not visit twenty stores. It will look for offers it understands, remove those with too much uncertainty, then suggest the most relevant products.

Your store must be ready before this behaviour becomes a habit.

Already today: ChatGPT helps users discover and compare products, and in-chat purchasing is being rolled out progressively in the United States.

Shopify organises your commerce. Agikod checks how AI understands it.

Your store already contains much of the necessary information. But it may be:

  • spread across several pages;
  • buried in overly generic copy;
  • missing from some product pages;
  • inconsistent between the catalogue and policies;
  • stated without evidence;
  • difficult to connect to a precise customer need.

Agikod turns this scattered material into a readable assessment.

You know what AI can establish. You see what it may misinterpret. You identify what deserves fixing first.

You are no longer working blind.

SEO taught you to be found.The agent era will require you to be understood.

For years, stores optimised pages to earn a visit.

Now, part of the decision may happen before that visit.

The agent will already have searched. It will already have compared. It may already have removed some offers.

The new challenge is therefore not just to rank. It is to enter the selection, then give the agent enough reasons to recommend you.

Frequently asked questions

Does Shopify not already make my products accessible to AI?

Shopify facilitates access to merchant data through Shopify Catalog and Agentic Storefronts. But eligibility does not guarantee that a product will appear in a specific response. Agikod measures whether your offer is clear, complete and credible enough to be understood and compared.

Does Agikod modify my store?

No. The assessment starts by analysing publicly available information. No changes are made automatically.

Do I need to install a Shopify app?

Not to view the first public assessment. Any integration required for an additional feature must be presented separately.

Does a good score guarantee a recommendation?

No. No external service can guarantee a recommendation by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or another agent. Better information does, however, reduce ambiguity and give agents more evidence for evaluating the offer.

Is this different from SEO?

Yes, although the two disciplines overlap. SEO primarily aims to make a page visible. Agikod measures whether company information is clear, consistent and verifiable enough to be used by AI agents.

Is it only for large stores?

No. A small, specialised and well-documented store may match a user’s request very precisely.

Do you analyse my customers’ data?

No. The initial assessment covers the store’s public information. It does not analyse private conversations, orders or customers’ personal data.

Your store may already be accessible to AI.Now find out whether it is genuinely understood.

Identify established information, ambiguity and gaps that may limit product selection.

The analysis and your profile are free to view. Listing activation comes afterwards, only if you choose it.

No changes are made to your website during the analysis.
